The paper “Optimization of long-reach TDM/WDM passive optical networks” authored by Marilet De Andrade, Anna Buttaboni, Massimo Tornatore, Pierpaolo Boffi, Paolo Martelli and Achille Pattavina, received the 2015 Fabio Neri Best Paper Award assigned by the Elsevier journal “Optical Switching and Networking“.
Optical Switching and Networking (OSN) is an archival journal aiming to provide complete coverage of all topics of interest to those involved in the optical and high-speed opto-electronic networking areas.
The Fabio Neri Best Paper Award is presented annually to the best research paper published in OSN. The award is named after Fabio Neri, who was the founding co-Editor-in-Chief of OSN and passed away suddenly at a young age in 2011.
