Our group took a trip to Copenhagen for the European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC) 2025.

Professor Paola Parolari organized two workshops: WS4 “Reconfigurable, Adaptable and Intelligent Access Networks – Do we have real use cases?” and WS12 “Is the access network ready to host quantum technologies?”.

Alessandro Gagliano and Stefano Gaiani presented two papers during the conference, respectively “Modeling and Experimental Assessment of QKD Systems in Coexistence with QKD-Encrypted High-Capacity DWDM Transmission” and “Partial-MIMO Application for Mode Groups Transmission Over 15-Mode and 6-Mode Multi-Mode Fibers“.

Finally, our group also contributed to a strong SDM experimentation showcased in the Post-Deadline sessions by Ruben S. Luis.
